Bowery expands its German portfolio with two new logistics properties in Duisburg and Stuttgart
Bowery, the European logistics real estate company, continues growing its portfolio across Germany following the recent acquisition of two logistics last-mile properties in Duisburg and Stuttgart.
In Duisburg, the highly efficient 14,500 sqm warehouse boasts a clear height of 7.5 metres. The asset is subdividable, equipped with photovoltaic panels and it features approximately 50 ramp gates, providing ample parking and manoeuvring space. Strategically located on a 31,000 sqm plot and with easy access via the A40 highway, the property is currently let to an international logistics service provider.
The property in Stuttgart, situated on an 11,000 sqm plot, comprises around 8,000 sqm of combined warehouse and office space. It features a clear height of approximately 7 metres and over 25 ramps, which enhances its operational efficiency. The property will undergo a strategic repositioning following the acquisition and the departure of its current tenant.
For these two acquisitions, Bowery acted on behalf of an institutional investor, and was advised by Immolox (agent for Duisburg), Objekta Real Estate (agent for Stuttgart), K&L Gates (legal, tax) and CBRE (technical, environmental).
These latest additions make up for the fourth and fifth properties entering Bowery’s German portfolio over the last nine months and the first in the Duisburg and Stuttgart regions, bringing the total perimeter over 50,000 sqm of logistics space.
